Changing the Language Settings of Your Uber App

Uber app automatically sets the language based on the language settings of your device, so in order to change the language of the application, you should change the language settings of your smartphone.

Here are the instructions on how to change the language settings on your smartphone depending on the operating system of your device (iOS / Android / Windows Phone).

1. On the Home screen, tap Settings;
2. On the next screen, tap General;
3. Using iOS 8 or later: Scroll all the way to the end of the list and tap Language & Region;
4. On the next screen, tap “[Device] Language”;
5. Pick your language from the list, then tap Done;
6. Confirm your new settings on the pop-up screen.

After a few seconds, your device should return to the Home screen and display the language you selected.

For Android

1. Open the Settings app;
2. Select the “Language & input” option;
3. Select the “Language” option and select your language;
4. Use your device in the new language.

For Window Phone:

1. Go to settings;
2. Scroll down and look for language;
3. Tap the plus sign;
4. Select your language check it;
5. Tap the button above the list of languages to restart the phone.

Once you open the Uber app, the new language settings should be reflected. If not, simply delete and reinstall the Uber app.
